Flemming Faber, MA, CISSP

Flemming Faber, MA, CISSP, is a Senior Adviser in Centre for Cyber Security under the Danish Ministry of Defence.

Flemming Faber has extensive experience in eGovernment and Information Security. He has provided ICT consultancy services on management level since 1986, and since 1994 specializing in Information Security. In 2003 he entered the Danish Civil Service, where he was leading the Danish Government's Information Security management strategies and initiatives, especially in relation to the Danish e-Government initiatives and Danish information security awareness raising campaigns.

In 2009 he became Senior Adviser in the Danish GovCERT and since 2011 in Centre for Cyber Security, where he is in charge of international relations.

He is a Danish Government representative on the Board of ENISA – the European Network and Information Security Agency.

Flemming Faber has shared his professional knowledge and business management skills with the industry as an (ISC)² Board Member (2010-2013), the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium, Inc., (ISC)²®, the global leader in educating and certifying information security professionals throughout their careers.

Flemming Faber has over the years been giving many talks on eGovernment and information security all over the world.
