Scholarship for Service at Idaho State University

Idaho State University has received an NSF Federal Cyber Service: Scholarship for Service (SFS) grant that will provide support for students to study in the field of Information Assurance and computer security.

The SFS program will support three cohorts of ten student researchers. One cohort of students will be admitted into the program each year for the next three years. The first cohort begins school with the fall 2003 semester. Each cohort of students will have both undergraduate students and graduate students, and each student will be in the program for up to two years.

Both graduate and undergraduate participants will be fully integrated into our research programs by assignment to one of our externally funded research projects. All students will receive stipends plus support for fees and room and board.

All students will be completing Idaho State University degrees, but there will be additional activities that are specially created for the SFS students.
