In conjunction with the National Information Assurance Training and Education Center (NIATEC) and the National Science Foundation Scholarship for Service (SFS) program, we offer capacity building courses in Information Assurance.
These courses are open to faculty from accredited four year schools nation-wide. Faculty from two year schools may participate on a space available basis.
During June, July, and August, we co-sponsor workshops through the SFS program. Week long capacity building workshops at locations around the United States. These are designed to help develop curriculum for their home institutions:
- Hampton University
- University of Hawaii
- Texas A&M
Faculty who are in the process of developing courses may spend up to one month on the Idaho State University working with the staff of the NIATEC to develop courses for delivery on their campus.
Highly recommended students may come to work in the NIATEC lab for up to two weeks any time during the year. (Space permitting)
